CHOICE HOTELS INTERNATIONAL named the 2025 recipients of its “Your Community, Your Choice” grant program, which provides grants to nonprofits nominated by hotel owners. Each organization will receive up to $5,000, totaling more than $85,000.

The company has donated $350,000 through more than 80 hotel nominations since 2019, Choice said in a statement. Approximately 15 hotels in the U.S. and four in the Asia-Pacific region were selected this year.

"At Choice Hotels, we're inspired every day by the meaningful ways our hotels give back to their communities," said Megan Brumagim, Choice's vice president, upscale brands and chief sustainability officer. "As we celebrate the sixth year of the 'Your Community, Your Choice' program, we're proud to support these outstanding nonprofits and the dedicated hotel teams who champion their missions. Together, we're building stronger communities and helping create a brighter future for all."

Each 2025 nonprofit recipient was nominated by a Choice franchisee connected to the organization’s work. The U.S. recipients include Mom’s House, Clearwater Beach Charity, Westonwood Ranch, TOP Early Learning Centers, Core Community Bourbon County/Youth Core Ministries, Friends of Saguaro National Park, Feed My Starving Children, BCS Together, Open Arms/Council on Domestic Violence, Community Foundation of Lincoln County, Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida, St. Vincent de Paul Tampa, Raksha Inc., MilVet and The Starr Project.

The company has placed hotel owners at the center of its operations since its founding, the statement said. The Your Community, Your Choice program allows owners and operators to engage with their communities.

The Asia-Pacific recipients were Four Reasons Why, Warrina Domestic Violence and Family Services Coffs Harbour, Geelong Mums/Our Village and Aspire Canterbury: Disability Support Services.

Choice reported third-quarter net income of $180 million, up from $105.7 million a year earlier, driven by international growth.
