Christian Chen is Stonebridge Cos.’ new vice president for feasibility. He will lead the firm’s feasibility and underwriting efforts, providing analysis and strategic guidance to support growth across its portfolio.


He most recently served as vice president of feasibility and underwriting at Remington Hospitality, where he led a team underwriting hotel acquisitions, refinances and capital projects while coordinating across departments to align financial strategy with operations, Stonebridge said in a statement.

“The majority of our new assets coming into the system in this market cycle, as well as those in our pipeline, are underperforming properties where owners are implementing management changes,” said Rob Smith, Stonebridge’s CEO. “This makes it more important than ever to have someone at Christian’s level of expertise who can incorporate Stonebridge’s advantages and market dynamics into a detailed underwriting and business plan designed to strengthen our owners’ investment objectives.”

He previously held senior roles at Aimbridge Hospitality, managing a team handling the company’s feasibility and underwriting and at CBRE Hotels (formerly PKF Consulting), where he developed expansion strategies and conducted feasibility studies for hotel assets across the U.S.

Kevin Dingle, Stonebridge’s chief development officer, said Christian is a valuable addition to the team.

“His understanding of hotel feasibility, underwriting and market analysis will strengthen our investment strategy,” he said. “We welcome him to Stonebridge as we expand our national footprint.”

Denver-based Stonebridge, founded by Chairman Navin Dimond, is led by CEO Rob Smith. The company recently promoted Jamie Pomeroy to senior vice president of business development.
