Orkun Aydin is senior vice president of operations at Stonebridge Cos. He will oversee full-service hotels and resorts, managing performance, guest experience and owner value.
Aydin joined from Aimbridge Hospitality, where he was senior vice president of operations for the full-service division, overseeing a portfolio of full-service, resort and Caribbean properties, Stonebridge said in a statement.
“Orkun is a respected operator with experience in complex, high-volume environments,” said Lee Palaschak, Stonebridge’s executive vice president of operations. “His ability to elevate performance, build teams and partner with owners aligns with Stonebridge’s focus on operational excellence. He has a long track record of cultivating trust-based ownership relationships, which will be valuable as we expand our portfolio and strengthen partnerships nationwide. We are excited to welcome him to our leadership team.”
Before Aimbridge, Aydin held executive roles with Interstate Hotels & Resorts, serving as area general manager for the Buena Vista Palace Resort & Spa at Walt Disney World, DoubleTree by Hilton at Universal Studios and The Westin Tampa Harbour Island.
Aydin said he is honored to join Stonebridge.
