Dharma Subramanian is ALICE hospitality operations software company’s new vice president of product. He will oversee the company’s product management as it transitions to Agile/Scrum development methods.
Previously, Subramanian held various positions for companies including Unisys, IBM, Veeva Systems, and Reltio. He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Madras and a master’s degree in industrial engineering with a minor in computer science at Iowa State University.
Dharma said he likes ALICE’s holistic approach to hotel operations as opposed to the piecemeal solutions provided by other systems. The agile/scrum methodology of software development in which testing and development is done at the same time and encourages all parties involved in using the software to work together.
ALICE is one of several brands of communication and operations software available on the market. Other products include Beekeeper and Ivy.
