SREE HOTELS THIS month celebrated the grand-reopening of a landmark hotel in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, after it underwent $6 million in renovations.

The Cincinnatian Hotel, one of the oldest hotels in the city, was closed for nearly a year during its transformation. It is a member of the Curio Collection by Hilton, a soft brand for independent upscale and luxury hotels.

Ravi Patel is chairman of SREE Hotels, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Vinay Patel is principal and head of external affairs.

The Cincinnatian Hotel was built in 1882. In 1980, it joined the National Register of Historic Places. It had last been renovated in 1987. It has been a member of Historic Hotels of America since 1999.

The property has 146 rooms and two restaurants. It is near the Duke Energy Convention Center, corporate offices, restaurants, museums, theaters and sports venues.
