Terri Ryan is vice president of brand operations for Choice Hotels International’s Cambria Hotels. Previously she was senior vice president of hotel operations for Crestline Hotels & Resorts.
Ryan also held several other leadership positions on Crestline’s properties. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and has served on the boards of several D.C.-based hospitality affiliations.
Cambria is Choice’s upscale brand, and over the past two years the company has expanded its footprint in that segment, Choice CEO Patrick Pacious said in May at the company’s 64th annual global conference.
“We knew we could move up in segments, and we did,” Pacious said. Cambria has 45,000 rooms worldwide. Choice’s upscale soft brand, Ascend, has more than 200 hotels signed – more than any other soft brand, including Marriott and Hilton combined – and 50 in development.
