The Residence Inn Tuscaloosa is now open in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The Marriott International franchise is owned and managed by Richmond, Virginia-based KM Hotels under the leadership of President and COO Mayur Patel.

The 111-suite extended-stay hotel is near the University of Alabama and Bryant Denny Stadium, the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater, the Alabama Museum of Natural History, Tuscaloosa River Market and the Tuscaloosa Museum of Art. It is pet-friendly and features a shuttle, an indoor swimming pool and 550 square feet of meeting space to accommodate functions of up to 40 people.

The hotel also holds weeknight social events with drinks and food.

Last year, KM Hotels purchased a former retail anchor store for the Charleston Town Center in Charleston, West Virginia, to build a Homewood Suites by Hilton. That hotel is still under construction.
