Dilip Petigara is the new chief executive officer of hospitality-focused lender Access Point Financial. Michael Lipson is new chairman of the company’s board of directors.
Petigara joined the company in 2012 and has been chief operating officer since that time, according to the company. Prior to joining APF, he served as senior vice president of Specialty Finance Group. He also worked with GMAC Commercial Mortgage as assistant vice president and senior underwriter.
New Chairman Lipson has served as a strategic consultant to APF since 2017. He was the senior vice president of multifamily asset management & operations at a mortgage loan company, Freddie Mac, where he led the organization’s multifamily business operations, asset management, and technology teams.
Lipson served as president and CEO of Berkadia Commercial Mortgage and also spent 13 years as executive vice president for Capmark Finance (GMAC Commercial Mortgage).
