PEACHSTATE HOSPITALITY EXPECTS to open its SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Augusta, Georgia, on Dec. 14.
The 88-suite upper midscale select service hotel is owned by Augusta Lodging LLC. PeachState Hospitality is the manager.
PeachState Hospitality is in Warner Robins, Georgia. The family-owned hotel development and management company has been in business since 1989. Danny Patel is co-founder and CEO. Rajiv Bhatia, formerly of Wyndham Hotel Group, was appointed president in June.
SpringHill Suites Augusta is located 12 miles from Augusta Regional Airport, and 15 minutes from downtown. It is near Fort Gordon, Augusta Riverwalk, Sacred Heart Cultural Center and the Augusta National Golf Course, home of PGA’s Masters Tournament.
The hotel offers business services, complimentary Wi-Fi, same-day dry cleaning, guest laundry facilities, an indoor hydro-spa pool, a fitness center and a patio with a fire pit. Its guest rooms feature Marriott’s new MVP Guest Entertainment Technology providing more than 40 HD channels, an interactive guide and the ability for guests to stream Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Pandora and Crackle.
Its lobby and social area has a 24-hour market pantry. It has 335 square feet of meeting space.
The SpringHill Suites Augusta is on a three-acre parcel next to a 124-unit Residence Inn that PeachState Hospitality opened in summer 2016.
PeachState Hospitality has 10 hotels and is on track to add at least another 15 assets to its management portfolio by 2020. Its sister company is Divine Development LLC.
