NORTH POINT HOSPITALITY in April reopened its DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in metro-Atlanta after completing a $4 million renovation.

The 80-room DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta/Alpharetta, a full service upscale hotel, is in the Windward Business District at Exit 11 off Georgia Route 400.

S. Jay Patel, president and CEO of North Point Hospitality, said along with a new look, the hotel has enhanced its technology that allows for digital check-in and digital key as well as texting between the front desk and the guest. He calls it a “21st century stay.”

“The property will continue to provide our guests with the hospitality and service they have come to expect from us while highlighting our hotel’s new features and furnishings,” he said.

The transformed lobby features a pod-style front desk, eight-seat communal table, business center, market and complimentary Wi-Fi. The hotel features a full-service restaurant and bar that offer daily breakfast buffet or evening cocktails Monday-Thursday. Guest rooms have new furniture and Sweet Dreams by DoubleTree mattresses. Also renovated is the fitness center, featuring Precor equipment.

The Doubletree by Hilton Atlanta/Alpharetta can accommodate small to mid-size meetings. The hotel offers on-site catering.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta/Alpharetta is a two-time winner of Hilton’s Connie Award, Hilton Hotels & Resort’s highest award, which recognizes properties that have the perfect balance of exceptional product and outstanding service.

The Doubletree by Hilton Atlanta/Alpharetta also participates in Clean the World, a program that sends used guest soaps, shampoo and conditioner bottles to a facility in Orlando, Florida, to be sterilized and sent to homeless shelters, domestic abuse shelters and under-developed countries.
