Homewood Suites by Hilton Edina Minneapolis opened on Sept. 18 in Endina, Minnesota. The development of the 146-suite upscale extended-stay hotel is a joint venture between Noble Investment Group of Atlanta, Georgia, and Simon Property Group, a commercial real estate developer that specializes in mixed-use projects. Mit Shah is CEO of Noble Investment Group, a private equity hotel investor. Concord Hospitality manages the property.

The hotel is part of Southdale Center, a retail-residential complex by Simon. The hotel is 10 miles from downtown Minneapolis and the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. It is near corporate headquarters Best Buy, Dairy Queen, United Health, General Mills and Regis Corp. It also is closed to hospitals, including the renowned Methodist Hospital and Fairview Hospital.

The hotel has a fitness center with an indoor heated pool, a lobby bar, and an outdoor courtyard complete with fire pit and grill. It has more than 600 square feet of meeting space.
