NewcrestImage’s newly opened TownePlace Suites/SpringHill Suites occupy the same 13-floor building in New Orleans. TownePlace Suites is an extended-stay brand while SpringHill Suites serves transient guests.

NewcrestImage has opened a dual-branded TownePlace Suites and SpringHill Suites, both brands by Marriott, in New Orleans. Mehul Patel is chairman and CEO of NewcrestImage.

The new hotel occupies a 13-floor building on Canal Street built in 1960 that underwent major renovation. The TownePlace Suites has 105 suites and the SpringHill Suites has 74 rooms.

The TownePlace Suites is an extended-stay hotel while the SpringHill Suites serves transient business and leisure travelers. The two hotels share a single lobby, registration desk, breakfast area and lounge.  There is a single management and sales team and a single housekeeping staff. The property features an 8,000 square-foot rooftop bar.

The new hotels also share the “Vue” rooftop bar.

The hotels are near Interstate 10 and the city’s BioDistrict, a state-supported economic development area that includes medical facilities, educational institutions and private businesses.
