The dual-branded AC Hotel Atlanta Midtown and Moxy Atlanta Midtown is now open in Atlanta, Georgia. It is owned by Noble Investment Group under CEO Mit Shah.
The hotel, with 288 rooms and suites combined, is Marriott International’s premiere for its boutique Moxy brand in Georgia. It’s also the third AC Hotel to open in the state. Located in midtown between 14th Street and 13th Street, the hotel is near attractions like the High Museum, Fox Theater, Woodruff Arts Center, Alliance Theatre, and Krog Street Tunnel.
The interiors of both hotels feature exhibits from local artists, including “Welcome Home,” a 54-foot long mural by Atlanta artist, GREG MIKE, prominently hung in the Moxy’s lobby. The LEED-certified hotels cover one entire block and offer very different experiences for guests, said Marriott Vice President for Distinctive Select Service Brands Toni Stoeckl.
“With Moxy we threw out the hotel rulebook to create a bold new hotel experience geared toward guests who are looking for shareable, experiential moments when they travel,” she said. “AC Hotels are designed more for those who want a moment of respite among the hustle and bustle of the city – the opportunity to reflect in an elegant, peaceful space with frictionless service.”
