Michael Lindenbaum is now the chief operating officer for hotel brand and management company Dream Hotel Group. Previously he was executive vice president for hotel development and operations for the company that was founded by Sant Singh Chatwal, who is now the company chairman with Jay Stein as CEO.
Lindenbaum joined Dream Hotel Group in 2010 as vice president of operations. Prior to that he held senior management positions for several lifestyle brands, including Gansevoort Hotel Group, Gotham Hospitality, The Library Collection (formerly HK Hotels) and Born-Druckier Hotels.
In his new position he will oversee the company’s Dream Hotels, Time Hotels and Unscripted Hotels brands. The company recently announced it would open a boutique Dream Hotel in downtown Memphis that is scheduled to open in 2022. It opened a hotel in Nashville earlier this year. The group plans to sign another 30 hotels and resorts across all its brands over the next four years.
