Mia Kyricos is Hyatt Hotels Corp.’s new senior vice president and global head of wellbeing. In the newly created position, she will lead Hyatt’s efforts to look after the mental, physical and spiritual well being of its employees and guests.
Kyricos will oversee Hyatt’s “wellbeing brand,” Miraval resorts, as well several other programs promoting wellness and fitness. That includes launching a World of Hyatt Credit Card that awards additional bonus points for spending on fitness.
Previously she was president and CEO of boutique advisory firm Kyricos & Associates that focused on wellness-driven hospitality, tourism and healthy lifestyle companies. Prior to that she also was chief brand officer at Spafinder Wellness, Inc., and worked at Core Performance and in the workplace wellness divisions of EXOS and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.
