Feisal Jaffer is the new global head for Hilton’s luxury LXR Hotels and Resorts brand. Previously he was senior vice president of business development for Capella Hotel Group, part of Pontiac Land Group.
Jaffer previously was Pontiac’s senior vice president for acquisitions and development. Before that he worked for Host Hotels and Fairmont-Raffles Hotels International respectively.
He holds masters and undergraduate degrees in rhetoric and electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California, Berkeley. He will be based in Hilton’s global headquarters in McLean, Virginia.
Hilton launched the LXR brand in 2018, which comprises independent hotels in resort locations.
This year the company observed its 100th anniversary with the creation of its “Random Acts of Hospitality” program, in which employees will perform “meaningful, simple gestures” for people in their communities, and a new foundation to benefit the communities in which it operates.
