The InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown hotel has opened along downtown Los Angeles’ Wilshire Boulevard. The 73-story, 1,100-foot-tall hotel is the tallest building in the city.
The new hotel, part of the Wilshire Grand Center that opened in June, is owned by Hanjin Group of South Korea and managed by InterContinental Hotels Group. It includes 889 guest rooms, a sky lobby on the 70th floor and five dining areas. It is LEED gold-certified for environmental design and contains 95,000 square feet of event, meeting, conference and banquet space, including a 21,000-square-foot grand ballroom and 33 meeting rooms.
