The Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre has completed a multi-million-dollar transformation project consisting of the entire lobby, guest rooms, Lincoln ballroom and Lakeview room.
The renovation, completed on July 1, is part of a larger scope of major projects by individual hotels above standard annual capital expenditures across the global portfolio of Hilton Hotels & Resorts, say officials. The overall project has cost $3bn over three years.
'North Dallas is a premier address and we wanted our new guest rooms to capture a very residential feel with a collection of furniture styles and finishes,’ said Michael McGilligan, general manager, Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre.
The rejuvenation project encompassed all 500 guest rooms, including 18 luxury suites and four executive levels. ‘The idea was to create a classic, sophisticated, functional and inviting feel for all of our guests,’ McGilligan said. ‘Our main objective was to produce a renovation that would deliver an enhanced hotel experience for both our leisure and business traveler.’
The 10,000 square-foot Lincoln Ballroom was also transformed with new wall coverings, air walls, and flooring. The hotel also upgraded to state-of-the-art Internet, and audio visual technology.
The lobby was transformed with bold contemporary furnishings and artwork. It also features light tile flooring, a plasma media wall and a serene water feature leading to the hotel's four acre lake.
The HBar features regional tapas style appetizers and specialty drinks. The complimentary shuttle service provides transportation within a three-mile radius to shopping, dining and entertainment venues.
