The hotel will have two swimming pools, including a heated pool, a fitness centre, and treatment rooms, the statement said. It will also feature a 4,000-square-foot banquet hall for social and corporate events.

The agreement with FIL Industries covers converting an existing property and expanding it in future phases, IHCL said in a statement.

“Patnitop is a hidden gem in Jammu and Kashmir, offering travelers a quick winter escape,” said Suma Venkatesh, IHCL’s executive vice president for real estate and development. “With the largest room inventory in the destination, this Gateway resort will meet the growing demand from Punjab, Delhi NCR and Jammu. We are pleased to partner with FIL Industries Pvt Ltd on this project.”

According to Venkatesh, the hotels serve as a gateway to the Himalayas, and the signing aligns with IHCL’s strategy to expand the brand in leisure markets.

FIL Industries operates in agriculture, food and beverages, travel, hospitality and health. The company also manages ropeway projects, including the Dehradun–Mussoorie link and the Yamunotri Ropeway.
