The Best Western Plus Elk City / Executive Residency by Best Western opened in Elk City, Oklahoma. It is the first new-construction dual-branded hotel for Best Western Hotels & Resorts and aims to serve transient and extended-stay guests. Owner is Joshua Joseph of Elk City Joseph Investments LLC.
Best Western Hotels & Resorts has 30 Best Western Plus/Executive Residency by Best Western properties in the pipeline for the U.S. and Canada.
Halfway between Oklahoma City and Amarillo and near Elk City’s municipal airport and Old Town Complex, the hotel features 10 Best Western Plus guestrooms and 60 Executive Residency guestrooms. Shared space includes the lobby, food and beverage offerings, fitness center, outdoor pool and communal areas. “Dual-branded properties have become quite popular, as they allow developers to attract customers from two different market segments and increase the visibility for online channels representing different brands and offerings,” said Ron Pohl, Best Western’s senior vice president and chief operations officer.
