CHOICE HOTELS INTERNATIONAL on June 25 announced changes to its leadership lineup. The Rockville, Maryland, franchiser has promoted and repositioned several veteran employees and hired a former Hilton executive.

Duane Hart joins Choice as vice president of business and analytic services. Previously he was vice president of data and analytics operations at Hilton Worldwide in McLean, Virginia.

Promotions and reassignments are:

Megan Brumagim is vice president of brand management, design and compliance. She oversees strategy, growth and performance of the company’s largest brands: Comfort, Sleep Inn, Quality Inn, Clarion, Econo Lodge and Rodeway Inn. She was senior director for signature brands and played a pivotal role in leading the multi-year, $2.5-billion joint effort with franchisees to transform the company’s flagship Comfort brand.

Anna Scozzafava moves into the newly created role of vice president of brand strategy and operations for extended stay, where she leads the growth of MainStay Suites, WoodSpring Suites and Suburban Extended Stay. She was vice president of strategy and planning.

Anne Smith is vice president of strategy and planning, where she oversees corporate strategy and business transformation. She was vice president of brand management, design and compliance.

Anthony Goldstein is regional vice president of new construction, West. He is focused on Choice’s expansion of Comfort and Sleep Inn brands in the western U.S. He held a similar position for Choice’s conversion brands.

In May, Choice Hotels named Michelle Masters regional vice president of franchise development in the Northeast U.S.
