The 90-room Courtyard by Marriott Craft Farms in Gulf Shores, recently acquired by A&R Group under CEO Ken Patel, is on Gulf Shore’s Parkway 3.5 miles north of Gulf Shores beaches and near Craft Farms golf resort.

GULF SHORES, ALABAMA-based A&R Group has acquired the Courtyard by Marriott Craft Farms in Gulf Shores. The company plans to undertake a $1.6 million renovation on the property beginning in the fall of 2020.

The renovation of the 90-room hotel will follow feature Marriott’s Gen 2 design on the exterior and its CYnergy decor package on the interior. The hotel is on Gulf Shore’s Parkway 3.5 miles north of Gulf Shores beaches. Nearby is also Craft Farms golf resort. Inside, the hotel features The Bistro – Eat.Drink.Connect. restaurant.

A&R Group’s A&R Hospitality will manage the property while its A&R Construction and A&R Design will oversee the renovation. The group now owns 19 hotels around the U.S. with approximately 1,800 rooms and over $100 million in assets.

In June, Banyan Investment Group under and CEO Rakesh Chauhan and founding principal and Chief Investment Officer Andy Chopra acquired the 110-room Courtyard by Marriott Houston Pearland in Pearland, Texas, near Houston.
